Although 1987 was one year after the classic second generation RAF WAVE was introduced, I think these sails with their bright colors and easy handling might be the benchmark that all other RAF sails can be compared to. These are certainly the sails I think of when I think of Neil Pryde RAF.

Note 1987 featured the famous Fred Haywood signature series Speed sail. Additionally, 1987 was the last year of the Garda series (1985-1987). In this final year the Garda featured a redical redesign with an interesting cut-away at the top of the sail (see bottom of page).
