1989 saw continued innovation and expansion of the RAF sails within the Neil Pryde line. We also started to see monofilm sails begin to be introduced to the line-up. You can easily identify 1989 and onwards Neil Pryde Mylar/Dacron sails because they started writing Neil Pryde on the top of the leech of the sail. Some models (including the RAF SLALOM and RAF WAVE models also featured zippers on the bottom batten)
