This is a new page as of June 2026 that is dedicated to the board that started it all. The original Windsurfer created by Hoyle Schweitzer (RIP 2026) is as iconic today as it was innovative when it first came out. This board probably brought more people into windsurfing than all the other boards put together. Why ? Because it is solid, simple to rig, and can be used effectivelly in a range of conditions.
